The Republican will apparently be unopposed in the upcoming election.

Town Council chairperson Nancy Nickerson will likely retain that seat for another two years.
The Republican will apparently be unopposed in the November election, as Democratic placeholder candidate Ned Statchen has withdrawn his name from consideration, the Hartford Courant reported.
“I’m delighted to be able to have the opportunity to continue representing the people in Farmington,” Nickerson told the newspaper. “We will all be working very hard to get the message out of what we stand for and what we’ve done, with or without an opponent.”
