Carol passed away peacefully at Mass. General Hospital in Boston, Ma., on Feb. 10, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with melanoma.
Carol C. (Clemmer) Scarrozzo- Motyka, 58, passed away peacefully at Mass. General Hospital in Boston, Ma., on Feb. 10, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with melanoma. Born in Farmington, CT, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Florence Clemmer. Carol is survived by her loving husband, the love of her life and best friend, Jim Motyka of Niantic, CT; her cherished son, Nicholas Scarrozzo of West. Hartford, CT; her 3 step-sons, Joseph Motyka and Matthew Motyka, both of Vernon, CT, and Thomas Motyka and his wife Stephanie, and grandson Liam, of Manchester, NH; her brother, Stewart "Chip" Clemmer of College Park, MD; her mother-in-law, Mary Motyka of Palmer, Ma; her Aunt Jean Charles of Wayland, Ma; her cousins, Amy Belanger, Michelle Hopkins, and Patrice Moynihan, along with many other family and friends. There will be no calling hours and the service and mass will be private.
