Play A Tune (Or Just Make Noise) At Farmington Library Event

FARMINGTON, CT — Often, musicians frown upon folks just grabbing their musical instruments and playing away.

But a Farmington Public Library Program Sunday, March 12, will let people do just that.

Called "Come Meet the Instruments," this event takes place at 2 p.m. at the main Farmington Library on 6 Monteith Drive.

Musicians from the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra will be there to show off their wares and play a few tunes.

But the program's highlight promises to be the "instrument petting zoo," where folks can inspect, explore and, even, play some of the instruments made available.
