Overnight Work To Slow Farmington Traffic On Busy Road
Work is slated to begin Monday into Tuesday, then resume Tuesday into Wednesday.
FARMINGTON, CT — Local police are warning motorists to exercise caution and patience on a stretch for Route 4 Monday and Tuesday.
According to the Farmington Police Department, overnight road work is expected on the roadway (Farmington Avenue) between Monteith Drive and Town Farm Road.
Police said pavement there is expected to be milled as part of a road reconstruction project.

The work starts at 6 p.m. and continues overnight into 6 a.m. the followjjing morning.
Work is planned for Monday night into Tuesday and Tuesday night into Wednesday, police said.

As a result of the project, police said traffic will be alternating and delays are expected.
Overnight Road Work - Rt. 4: Sunday night (7/9) – Tuesday night (7/11), 6 PM – 6 AM, Farmington Ave (Rt. 4) between Monteith Dr and Town Farm Rd will undergo milling. Traffic will be alternating, and delays are expected in the area.
