On Friday, February 17, senior Evie Perez scored her 1,000th point during the varsity basketball team's game against Suffield Academy. Evie, who finished the game with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals, is just the third athlete in school history to reach this milestone.
"Congratulations to Evie on this wonderful accomplishment," says Head Coach and Dean of Athletics Jez McIntosh. "Scoring 1,000 points takes a lot of hard work and determination and Evie has demonstrated both of those qualities since her freshman year. I am very happy that Evie was able to accomplish a goal that she set out to attain early in her career here."
