Police Activity On I-84 In Farmington Finished: Update

FARMINGTON, CT — Interstate 84 east in Farmington was experiencing a traffic slowdown due to reported police activity, but police have, since, wrapped up operations.

According to the state Department of Transportation, police were working the area of I-84 between exits 39A and 40 for unspecified reasons.

This had resulted in the closure of the right shoulder.

The activity was first reported at 8:43 a.m., but the DOT said via Twitter is was finished by 9:26 a.m.
