Police: Farmington Man Beat Wife with Rolling Pin

A 57-year-old Farmington man is accused of beating his wife with a rolling pin after an argument about fish preparation.

Qinzhong Zou, of 23 Wellington Dr., was charged with charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree threatening, and interfering.

On Wednesday, a neighbor called police and stated that a man was beating a woman with a stick in a common hallway of their apartment complex.

An investigation by arriving officers revealed that Zou was hitting his wife with a rolling pin after an argument about how to prepare the fish they were having for dinner.

He was held on a $25,000 bond and was due in court on Thursday.
