Police Still Seeking Owner of Dog Found In Farmington
The pitbull terrier is believed to have been abandoned, according to police.

FARMINGTON, CT — Police say a pitbull terrier found Tuesday near the Bristol town line is believed to have been abandoned, and have stepped up their efforts to locate his owner.
The Farmington Police Department posted an update on the dog Wednesday morning on its Facebook page.
"After more than 24 hours, no one has come forward and we are beginning to fear that he may have been abandoned. He has injuries, the extent of which are still unknown, and he is being treated by a veterinarian. We are closely monitoring his condition."
