Popular Farmington Restaurant Closes for Renovations
The establishment has closed for "renovations and re-branding," according to its owner.

FARMINGTON, CT — A popular Route 4 restaurant closed abruptly Thursday, but the owner told a local television station the closure is for renovations and re-branding.
Fox61 reported Apricots Restaurant, which opened on the banks of the Farmington River in 1983, had a sign in the window reading "Closed till further notice." The front door was locked with a chain.
Owner Ann Howard told Fox61 an architect hired to renovate the building is ready to start work, which was sooner than she expected.
