Recent Death Notices From Farmington

FARMINGTON, CT — Farmington death notices as of Sept. 11, 2026:

• Marguerite Alexia "Maggie" DeFelice, 73, died June 27. A registered nurse, she earned her RN degree from Greater Hartford Community College in 1980 and an associate degree from Manchester Community College in 2000. She graduated from Bulkeley High School in Hartford in 1971 and had previously lived in Wethersfield.

• Anushka Kalpesh Patel, 13, died June 2. A seventh grader at Irving A. Robbins Middle School, she died after a long illness, surrounded by her family.

• Geary C. Siroonian, 71, died May 31 at his home in Farmington, surrounded by family. Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Leon and Grace Siroonian.

• Thomas Arthur Dembik, 82, died May 16. A 1960 graduate of Maryvale High School in Cheektowaga, New York, he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1964. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Dembik, three children, and three grandchildren.

• Dr. Pauline Olsen, 89, died May 10. A native of Kilfenora, County Clare, Ireland, she graduated from medical school at University College Dublin in 1963 and worked as a missionary sister in South Korea for eight years before starting an OB/GYN practice at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford in 1980, which she ran for 25 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Zenny, in 1997.

• Frances A. Boyea, 76, died March 12. Born in Middlebury, Vermont, she was the widow of Arthur J. Boyea Jr. and died at home surrounded by her family.
