Register Now for the Farmington Penguin Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics Connecticut
"Take the plunge" into the icy cold waters of Winding Trails, Farmington to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.

All are invited to take the Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics in Farmington this winter season. Registration is now open at www.soct.org. The plunge will take place Sunday, January 25 at Winding Trails, 50 Winding Trails, Farmington. Check-in the day of the event will take place at 8 a.m.; the plunge at 10 a.m. For more information, call 203-230-1201 or email specialolympicsct@soct.org. This annual fundraiser encourages friends from the Farmington community and beyond to come together and take the plunge into icy cool waters to support over 14,000 Special Olympics athletes and Unified Sports® partners. All are invited to participate, including individuals, friends and families, and teams representing schools, businesses, organizations and clubs.
Penguin Plunges provide a fun and festive atmosphere and also feature music, refreshments, awards and parades of plungers in costume to enjoy. To join in the fun, Penguins must be at least 8 years old and need to raise a minimum of $100. In addition to the awards for top fundraisers and best costume, Penguins receive incentive prizes for their fundraising efforts.
