It is refreshing to find a candidate who is unselfish and willing to serve her town because she values what our Farmington community represents. I am writing in support of Nancy Nickerson for the position of Famington Town Council Chair. I have known Nancy for many years and continue to be impressed by her selfless dedication to our town. Nancy has a proven track record of leadership ability as is evident in her 16 years on the Board of Education with 10 of those years in the role of Chairperson. Her present position as the Vice-Chair on the Town Council is a direct result of the trust and respect she has earned over the years from her colleagues. In this economy, with all of its budget restraints, Nancy Nickerson has helped maintain town services and our exceptional school system while being fiscally responsible and keeping our residents safe through her support of our police and fire departments. She also dedicates her time on the Boards of the Farmington Food Pantry, Services for the Elderly and Friends of the Library.
I know that Nancy believes Farmington is a great place to live, work and raise a family. I hope you join me in supporting Nancy Nickerson on Election Day so she can continue making our town a community that we can all be proud of.
