Route 4 Farmington Ave Construction Traffic Update
Evening Construction at intersection of Route 10 (Main Street/ Waterville Road) and Route 4 (Farmington Ave)- Expect Heavy Delays 8pm-5am

FARMINGTON, CONNECTICUT- July 22nd, 2015- On Wednesday July 22nd and Thursday July 23rd construction on Route 4 (Farmington Ave.), in Farmington will extend into the intersection of Route 10 (Waterville Road) south of the current construction area between the hours of 8pm and 5am.
Commuters can expect delays travelling southbound and alternating 1 way traffic around the construction. Those driving in the area are advised to drive cautiously or seek an alternate route. Drivers can sign up for timely project updates on this project at CTWater.com/Projects.
The construction work is necessary to replace 1,500 feet of 75 year old water main. The replacement of aging or undersized water mains is part of our continuing effort to provide a reliable supply of high quality water to customers and ensure adequate water flow to hydrants for public fire protection.
