Route 4 Paving On Tap For This Week In Farmington
Delays can be expected along a stretch of Route 4 in Farmington this week, police said.

FARMINGTON, CT — Road work is expected to cause delays on a section of Route 4 in Farmington this week, police said.
Milling and paving along a stretch of Route 4 — known locally as Farmington Avenue — between West Avon Road and Highwood Road — is to start Monday night. The work is expected to continue through Thursday, police said.
Work hours are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Work hours are slated for Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am to 2 p.m.
Police said one lane of alternating traffic will be maintained during work h0urs. There will be access to to businesses and residences, police said.
