Sexual Assault Charges Filed By Farmington Police
A Hartford man is accused of having inappropriate contact with a juvenile in 2013 and 2014, according to police and judicial records.

FARMINGTON, CT — A Hartford man was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with sexual assault crimes committed against a juvenile victim in Farmington in 2013 and 2014.
Juan J. Cruz, 41, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with a victim under age 16, with bond set at $250,000. According to judicial records, the charges were amended to first-degree sexual assault, and his bond was increased to $350,000. He remains in custody.
Lt. Timothy McKenzie said the warrant supporting Cruz's arrest is sealed.
