Shooting Reported in Farmington

Three persons were wounded in the early-morning shooting Sunday, according to police.

FARMINGTON, CT - Three persons were wounded in a shooting incident early Sunday morning in the parking lot of a Farmington Avenue bar, police said.

Police responded at 1:50 a.m. to The Exchange at 270 Farmington Avenue for a reported shooting in the parking lot.  There, officers located three victims, all with non-life threatening injuries, Lt. Patrick Buckley said.  

The victims were transported to Hartford Hospital; their identities have not yet been released, "as it is still a very active scene," Buckley said.

Detectives are at the location processing the scene, interviewing witnesses, and working on the identity of the shooter.  West Hartford and UConn Health Center Police Departments assisted Farmington police at the scene, Buckley said.
