Snow and Sleet on the Way to Farmington

Farmington residents should prepare themselves for several inches of snow and other slippery wintry weather that will make its grand appearance Saturday.

Snowfall is likely mainly after 4 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Snow will change to a mix of rain, snow and sleet along with the possibility of freezing rain in the morning and afternoon.

The mix will then change back to all snow after 4 p.m. Winds can gust as high as 21 miles-per-hour.

There is a chance of snow Saturday night, mainly before 7 p.m.

Total accumulation could be anywhere between four and in excess of six inches for the day.
