Solve Puzzles Quickly At Farmington Library Event
The Farmington Public Library Wednesday, Jan. 15, is hosting a special 'speed puzzling' program.
FARMINGTON, CT — The Farmington Public Library will host a puzzling situation on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15.
But to solve it, you better be fast.
The library system's Barney Library, 71 Main St., is conducting a speed puzzling program where participants try and solve jigsaw puzzles as fast as they can.

The event starts at 2:30 p.m. at the library.
Single players, pairs, and teams are invited to participate, with the library having myriad puzzles of varying difficulties available.

No sign-ups are required, just show up and get cracking.
Puzzles — or "puzzling" — became a thing during the 2020 pandemic, when folks were cooped up in quarantine and looking for things to do.
Enter the puzzling craze.
Farmington is even home to one of the sport's more successful puzzlers, college professor and Farmington resident Elizabeth "EB" Caron, who competed in the 2023 World Jigsaw Puzzle Championships, which were held in Spain that year.
