Today from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm We are collecting food at Stop and Shop and Highland Park Market.
On behalf of Farmington Community Services - Farmington Fire Department and Tunxis Hose are Partnering with Stop & Shop, Highland Park Market and volunteers to sponsor "Stuff a Fire Truck" to collect holiday items for Holiday Baskets to benefit the community.
We are collecting the following items:
-Small Ham, Turkey Breast or gift card to purchase meat
-Canned vegetables
-Potato's
-2 cans string beans and 1 can mushroom soup (for green bean cassorole)
-Fried onions (for green bean cassorole)
-Gravy
-Crackers
-Fruit
-Crescent Rolls
-Holiday Cookies
-Sparkling Drinks (cider or grape juice)
At both sites Farmington FIre fighters and Farmington Community Services Staff will be collecting the donations.
