"Stuff-A-Swat-Truck" Food Drive

Farmington Community Services' and Police Department's annual Thanksgiving food drive to help neighbors in need.

In partnership with the Farmington Police Department, the annual Community Services Thanksgiving “Stuff-a-Swat-Truck” Food Drive will take place Saturday, November 19, from 9 am to 2 pm at Super Stop & Shop in Unionville.

The food drive provides over 100 holiday meals to low-income Farmington and Unionville residents. The Farmington High School cheerleaders will be on site spreading holiday joy and encouraging contributions to the program. With the generosity and charitable support of community members, the Thanksgiving Meal program continues to address the growing need this season brings.

9 AM to 2 PM

Requested donations include:

  • small turkey (or gift card)
  • cranberry sauce
  • bag of potatoes
  • box/bag of stuffing mix
  • bag of carrots
  • rolls (canned or fresh)
  • canned vegetables
  • can or bag of yams/sweet potatoes
  • pie shell & can of pie filling
  • can/jar of gravy
  • disposable roasting pan
