On Tuesday, November 5th, the voters of Farmington will have the opportunity to choose their candidates to represent them at the Town level. I ask that you join me and vote for William Baker as your next representative on the Farmington Board of Education. Bill brings a remarkable record of community service and unwavering commitment that is needed to face the challenges of balancing the demands of student achievement and fiscal responsibility.
As a parent, who has had three children graduate from Farmington public schools, I know that Bill will preserve our award winning schools and enhance the value our public schools provide for future generations. Bill understands the importance of evaluating all school programs and ensuring that all students who graduate have the opportunity to become productive members of the community. This month as part of the Exchange Club of Farmington, Bill worked hard to provide an FHS student with a technical scholarship in the name of my late husband, Bernie Ward. Bill realizes the importance of ensuring programs are in place for our students that allow them to pursue their dreams whether that be at a traditional college or at a technical school. Bill will enhance programs in our schools for all of our students allowing them to achieve and thrive in the 21st century global world.
Bill brings the experience and expertise needed to the Board of Education and is committed to our community as a whole. Bill has served us all in Farmington and he and his family have sacrificed for our country when he served in the Iraq War. Bill deserves our support and no one will serve Farmington better! I am proud to support Bill and I hope you join me in voting for William Baker on November 5th.
