The Allstate Foundation Donates $1,000 to Services for the Elderly of Farmington in Honor of Allstate Agent and Volunteer Ray Zailskas
Services for the Elderly of Farmington was honored to receive a $1,000 check from The Allstate Agency Hands in the Community grant program. The funds were given in recognition of Allstate Agent Ray Zailskas, a Meals on Wheels volunteer with Services for the Elderly.
“Ray Zailskas is a community leader because when The Good Hands People give back, our hometowns are better, safer places to live,” said a representative from the Allstate Foundation. “Community involvement is an extension of what our agents do every day -- protecting people and preparing them for the future.”
Mr. Zailskas is one of many people in Farmington who help seniors by delivering Meals on Wheels to their homes. This is a hot and cold meal that the person can receive Monday through Friday. Farmington Services for the Elderly is a non-profit volunteer agency providing valuable programs and services to Farmington’s senior citizens. It is funded by the United Way, the Town of Farmington, local service organizations, churches, businesses and private donations.
