The Hartford Stage came to Union School to offer an afterschool drama class from April through June, 2013. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade built drama skills as they explored and performed scenes from favorite stories, bringing magical characters to life using pantomime, movement, music and simple props and costumes. The program ended with a small performance based on the tales of Anansi the Spider for parents and friends. Thanks to Union School's EXCL program for arranging the program that was open to all Union School students.
