Three Hurt, One Critical, In Serious Farmington Crash: Police

FARMINGTON, CT — Local police are investigating a serious accident in Farmington Friday that sent three people to the hospital, one with serious injuries.

According to the Farmington Police Department, officers were called to a three-car crash on Fienemann Road near the Interstate 84 East on-ramp late Friday afternoon.

Police said one person was transported from the scene by Lifestar helicopter to an area hospital.

According to Farmington police in an update Saturday afternoon, the patient who was flown to Hartford Hospital is now in critical, but stable, condition.

The FPD said two other patients were transported to area hospitals for medical evaluation.

According to police, the North Central Regional Accident Reconstruction Squad was on the scene investigating the collision.

Fienemann Road was closed between Route 6 and the New Britain town line for several hours while the investigation took place.
