Town Council Member Patty Stoddard Supports Bill Baker For Board of Education

I am writing to endorse William Baker for the Board of Education.  I personally believe that Bill has the expertise and knowledge to be a thoughtful and supportive Board member.  Through his past experiences, Bill has shown his commitment to our Country and our Community.  Bill served in the United States Army for 19 years and 12 years as a member of the CT Army National Guard as well as seven years as a member of the US Army Reserves as Captain.  He is a member of the Unionville Historic District and Properties Commission, the Farmington Veterans Committee, and Vice President of the Exchange Club and worked with me this past year as a committee chair for Project Graduation.  He volunteers his time and serves this town well.  He was involved in the Girls Soccer Booster Club and was a Farmington Soccer Club travel Coach while his son and daughter played soccer in town.  He is a leader and a true volunteer for the betterment of our community.

Bill’s background in Accounting and as an Auditor with both private and State organizations will provide the knowledge and expertise needed on the Board of Education putting together the budget for the School System.  His son and daughter graduated recently from Farmington High School and he has a unique perspective on the school system and the changes that have taken place over the past several years while his children attended Farmington Schools.  He is a proven leader, not afraid to speak his mind and listen to others.   He is a quick learner and collaborative worker.  I believe the Board of Education can benefit from Bill’s knowledge and expertise as well as his experiences.

I hope you will join me and vote for Bill Baker and the entire Republican Party on November 5th.
