Traffic Light Failure at Route 6 and 177 Junction

Drivers are urged to use extra caution as crews work to fix the problem.

One of Farmington’s busiest intersections is extra dicey this morning due to a non-working traffic light.

The light at the junction of Routes 6 and 177 near Tunxis Community College is currently not working, police said.

Temporary stop signs have been put up, and the light is flashing. A Farmington police officer is on scene monitoring the intersection, Lt. Colin Ryan said.
