It is easy to support Services for the Elderly through the Birdies for Charity fundraiser offered by The Travelers Championship. Just guess how many birdies will be made by golfers at the June 16-22 golf tournament and make a donation of any amount to Services for the Elderly. The Travelers will give an extra 15% of the amount of your gift to Services for the Elderly. And if your guess is a good one, you may receive one of several prizes given for coming closest to the actual number of birdies. First prize is a 24-month Red Carpet Lease on a 2014 Ford Escort.
Services for the Elderly has received thousands of dollars from Birdies for Charity over the years.
“Our organization is so appreciative of this opportunity to raise needed funds for our programs,” said Nancy Walker, Executive Director of Services for the Elderly. “This is a fun way to bring together supporting the community and Connecticut’s premier sporting event.”
