Tunxis Community College to Hold Open House

Tunxis Community College in Farmington will hold an Open House on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the 600 Building.

All are welcome to tour the campus and learn more about Tunxis degree programs, financial aid, transfer opportunities and meet with scholarship representatives. Faculty and Tunxis students will be available to answer questions.

On-the-spot acceptances will be granted for those who bring proof of high school completion, unofficial transcripts, immunization records, application fee and a completed admissions application.

Central Connecticut State University, UConn, University of St. Joseph and Trinity College representatives will also be available to answer questions about transfer.

Tunxis offers over 50 associate degree and certificate programs that prepare students for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs and employment in areas with industry need, including Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Dental Hygiene, Early Childhood Education, Engineering Science, Graphic Design, Honors Computer Science/Mathematics, Human Services, and Liberal Arts and Sciences. Several programs offer guaranteed admissions with the CT State Universities and University of Connecticut, as well as numerous private colleges and universities.
