Two Dead After Thanksgiving Crash In Bristol: Reports

BRISTOL, CT — Two adults are dead and three children hurt in a Thanksgiving Day car accident in Bristol Thursday night that closed a street in nearby Farmington as well.

Citing Bristol Fire Department officials, WFSB Channel 3 reports the crash happened on Stevens Street in Bristol, close to the border with Farmington.

WFSB reports a total of five victims were trapped in the vehicle, which reportedly slammed into a tree, with two adults killed and three children rescued.

Those children were rushed to nearby hospitals, one via emergency helicopter to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, WVIT Channel 30 and WFSB reported.

WVIT reported that the children's ages were not yet known, but all three were in car seats.

At 8:19 p.m., the Farmington Police Department posted via Twitter that nearby Morea Road was closed due to the Bristol accident investigation.
