Unionville Bridge Work To Slow Farmington Traffic
Worth this week began June 27 and continues to June 29, resuming the week after the July 4 holiday week.
FARMINGTON, CT — Bridge work on the Unionville Bridge in Farmington will require area motorists to exercise a bit of patience this week and later in the summer.
The Town of Farmington Tuesday said work this week will take place from Tuesday, June 27, through Thursday, June 29, from 7 p.m. overnight into 7 a.m. the next day.
As a result, traffice will be alternatinve and "delays are expected in the area," the town said.

Next week, there will be no bridge construction or traffic impacts due to the Fourth of July holiday, but work will resume at the bridge the week after.
The old truss-style bridge spans the Farmington River in the Unionville section of town.
