Unionville's Legendary (And Spooky) Past Topic Of Library Event
The Farmington Public Library is hosting a special program on Unionville on Thursday, Oct. 10, looking into Unionville's mysterious past.

FARMINGTON, CT — Unionville is more than just a village in Farmington.
It represents a window to the neighborhood's past, one that — guests of a special Farmington Libraries program will learn this week — is full of history, legends and, even, ghosts.

On Thursday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m., visitors will be able to join the Farmington Library, 6 Monteith Drive, as it travels back in time and "catch a glimpse of what it was like to live in Unionville during the rapidly changing era at the turn of the century."
"This collection of folk tales and ghost stories will captivate you, bringing to life stories that have been woven into the fabric of our town's history, capturing the imagination and curiosity of readers of all ages," wrote Farmington Libraries in an announcement.
