Athletics

For the first time in school history, Porter's varsity soccer team is headed to the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Semifinals.

The team, whose current record is 19-0-2, defeated Governor's Academy in the quarterfinals with a score of 5-0. Porter's goals were scored by Carlyn Kosienski '19, Sydni Scott '18, Kyla Gallagher '20 (2), and Gabby Owens '19.

"Porter's soccer program has only been represented once before in the New England post-season tournament," notes Head Coach Avi Dubnov. "The girls were determined to make a statement in the quarterfinal game vs. Governor's Academy. The team is playing with freedom, enthusiasm and pride. I am delighted to be able to coach this team for one more weekend!"
