Vehicle Crashes Into Farmington Dunkin Donuts: Police

FARMINGTON, CT — A past Dunkin' Donuts advertising campaign proudly proclaimed, "America Runs On Dunkin.'"

But it didn't say anything about anything running into Dunkin.

Farmington police Monday morning said a single vehicle struck a building Sunday that housed a Dunkin' Donuts shop, and there were no injuries.

Police said the cause of the accident was driver error, and it was "non-criminal" in nature. Police said the driver of the vehicle was an 83-year-old Farmington resident.

According to police, Farmington's building inspector was called to the scene to take a look at the damage. The address where the crash occurred was on 12 Mill St., according to the Connecticut Post.
