Vehicle Slams Utility Pole In Farmington, Roadway Closed

The key state roadway is closed to traffic as repairs are being made.

FARMINGTON, CT — A key state roadway is closed after a vehicle slammed into a utility pole Thursday morning in Farmington, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the crash was on Route 10 (Waterville Road), with Route 10 closed between Route 4 and Aqueduct Lane.

The accident was first reported at 7:57 a.m., and it is still "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
