Wednesday, January 18

Varsity Basketball vs. Kingswood-Oxford: W 67-43Recap: Porter’s took on Founders League cross-town rival Kingswood-Oxford and with the help of two freshmen Porter’s took home the win (67-43). Delaney Nwachukwu ’20 had 19 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks, 1 assist and Callie Godfrey ’20 had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 assist and 2 blocks.
With only a 5 point lead at the half, Porter’s came out of the locker with energy and outscored the Wyverns 37-18.
Also contributing for Porter’s were Clare Porter ’19 (9 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist, 2 steals, 1 block), Evie Perez ’17 (8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal, 1 block), Lila Conners ’20 (8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block), Kyla Gallagher ’20 (7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals) and Ana Bartkiewicz ’20 (2 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assist, 2 blocks).
Porter’s finished the game with 43 rebounds (14 offensive/29 defensive), 14 assist and 14 steals. Porter’s will take on St. George’s at home on Saturday, January 21st at 4:30pm.

Varsity Swimming and Diving vs. Choate: L 82-93

Recap: Porter's Swimming and Diving performed well and put up a good fight against Choate. Highlights included a win in the 200 medley relay, an all-time best time and win by Marissa Chow '20 in the 100 breaststroke, and a lifetime best in the 200 IM by Avery Metcalfe '19. Saturday, January 21

Varsity Basketball vs. St. George's: W 50-42Recap: Porter’s was victorious against St. George’s despite struggling from the field shooting only 28%. Evie Perez ’17 took control of the game finishing the game with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assist, and 1 block.
Porter’s started off slow but was able to make a run right before halftime heading into the locker room down 18-19. In the second half Porter’s stepped up their defense and looked to push the ball.
With her 4th double, double of the season Delaney Nwachukwu ’20 chipped in 10 points (10 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks). Also, contributing was Callie Godfrey ’20 (7 points, 19 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 blocks), Kyla Gallagher ’20 (7 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal), Clare Porter ’19 (3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block), Ana Bartkiewicz ’20 (2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist) and Sarah Zukowski ’19 (2 points, 1 steal).
Porter’s finished the game with 52 rebounds (18 offensive/34 defensive) and 12 steals. Porter’s takes the court again Monday night against Berkshire.
