Varsity Golf vs. Taft: L 0-5
Recap: Taft racked up a birdie and 12 pars, putting up the best performance of any opponent this season. On an ideal day for golf, Porter's set out for its third day of match play in the young season, but ran into a buzz saw at the Watertown Golf Club. Taft played a tremendous match. Case on point, their #4 posted two pars and four bogies in a very impressive match won after six holes. Despite the scores from Taft, Porter's managed to extend the matches in all but one of the pairings. More work is required before Porter's is ready to go toe to toe against a team of Taft's caliber, and that work continues today.
