West Woods Upper Elementary School Students Qualify for Northern Region Music Festival
Outstanding musicians receive an all-conference award.
Farmington students from West Woods Upper Elementary School were selected for the Northern Regional Music Festival, a statewide competition for musicians. These students received this honor after auditioning with a solo and sight-reading selection for state adjudicators. They will participate in the music festival on March 24 and 25 at Wethersfield High School. This festival includes the most outstanding middle school musicians in the conference performing under conductors hired by the CT Music Educators Association. This year there is an unusually large number of students from Farmington. Congratulations to these musicians!
