Woman Injured in Fenway Park Elevator Fall Sues Farmington-based Otis Company
The woman's family has sued after she suffered critical injuries to her brain and spine.

The family of a woman who was severely injured during an elevator accident at Fenway park has sued Farmington-based Otis Elevator Company.
Elisabeth Scotland was at a Boston Red Sox game over the summer when she went to use an elevator, according to CBS Boston. The door swung open and she fell two stories down the shaft. Scotland suffered severe brain and spine injuries. She also damaged her face and teeth.
The lawsuit was filed against Fenway Sports Group and the elevator company, according to Boston.com. It seeks unspecified damages. Otis didn’t respond to a request for comment from the Associated Press.
