2 Now Charged In Glastonbury Organized Retail Theft Case

Glastonbury police have now made two arrests in what reports describe as an organized retail theft.

GLASTONBURY, CT — Police have now made two arrests in what reports describe as organized attempts to steal more than $8,000 worth of merchandise from a Glastonbury store.

Ebony Evans, 28, of Hartford and Juquana Little, 30, both of Hartford, were arrested by warrant on Aug. 28 and Sept. 10, respectively. Their charges were the result of an investigation into a shoplifting of more than $8,000 worth of jewelry from the Silver Dahlia in Glastonbury that occurred in June 2019.

Evans was apprehended in Rhode Island, where she had been incarcerated since the theft on out of state charges, polixe said. Little’s warrant was served while she was incarcerated in Connecticut on other charges, police said.

The two have been charged with organized retail theft, third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, according to a report.
