6,000-Pound Safe Falls On Person In Glastonbury
A person was taken to an area hospital after being trapped under a 6,000-pound safe in Glastonbury.

GLASTONBURY, CT — A 6,000-pound safe fell on a person at a Hebron Avenue property in Glastonbury on Monday, police said.
The call at 3671 Hebron Ave. came in a about 3 p.m., police said. The person was freed and the safe was safely removed by the time police arrived at the scene. The person was eventually taken to Hartford Hospital via ambulance, police said.
That area of Hebron Avenue is residential, police said.
