80-Year-Old Gets DUI After 2nd Crash At Crash Scene in Glastonbury
Glastonbury police said a suspected drunken driver caused a second accident at a crash investigation.

GLASTONBURY, CT — An 80-year-old suspected drunken driver caused a second accident at an Glastonbury accident scene, police said.
Glastonbury police released details of the Oct. 14 incident this week.
At 7:15 p.m. that day, while police were investigating a separate crash, the elderly Glastonbury resident traveled through the accident scene, but then hit one of the vehicles involved, according to an arrest report.

She was subsequently stopped by an officer and then failed standardized field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody, released on $20,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 9.
