Boy Hurt In Fall At Glastonbury Nature Preserve
First-responders assisted an accident victim at a Glastonbury nature preserve on Monday.

GLASTONBURY, CT — First-reponders rushed to the Cotton Hollow Nature Preserve in Glastonbury early Monday afternoon to assist a visitor in peril.
He was later identifed as a 12-year-old boy.
The call came in at about 12:50 p.m., police said.

Police initially said the person was in the woods but did not know the extent of any potential injuries. Scanner reports indicated it could be a fall.
Things turned more serious as emergency crews arrived. The boy was transferred to an area hospital by medical helicopter after falling about 25 feet from a cliff, authorities said.
