Water Main Break Shuts Off Service To Area Of Glastonbury

GLASTONBURY, CT — A water main break shut down service to properties within the Minnechaug Mountain area late Monday afternoon, officials said.

The break was announced at 3:45 p.m.

Manchester Water officials said the work to repair the break could last until midnight.

Potable water was being made available at the Company 3 Firehouse (rear of building) off Chestnut Hill Road near Hopewell School. Containers were being required when accessing water at the location.
