GLASTONBURY, CT — A Manchester man who was a driver for the Veterans Administration is facing theft charges for the misuse of a "government-issued" credit card, Glastonbury police said.
Donald Davis, 76, was charged on April 9 via a warrant with 17 counts of second-degree larceny and four counts of first-degree larceny, according to an arrest report. He posted a $60,000 bond and is due in Manchester Superior Court on May 7, records show.
According to a warrant, an investigation into the actions of Davis began in November 2025, when the GPD received a complaint accusing him of using a credit card designated for VA fleet maintenance to pay for personal automotive repairs at a local dealership.
As a driver, Davis had access to the card, according to a warrant.
