Glastonbury Sets Hearing On $660,000 Boat Ramp Funding Plan

GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury residents next week will have a chance to comment on a proposed $660,000 appropriation and transfer for a boat ramp project.

According to a legal notice from the Glastonbury Town Council, the public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 8 p.m. It will be staged in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 2155 Main Street, Glastonbury, and/or by Zoom Video Conferencing.

The hearing is for the council to consider action on a proposed appropriation and transfer of $660,000 to the Capital Improvement Project Fund for the boat ramp project, according to the notice.

The funding plan listed in the notice would draw money from three sources:

• $267,488 from the Capital Improvement Project Fund – Riverfront Park and Boathouse Project,
• $26,950 from the Capital Improvement Project Fund – Riverfront Park Extension Project
• $365,562 from the Capital Reserve Fund Balance

The next step in the process, according to the notice, is the after the public hearing, when the council will consider action on the proposal.
