GLASTONBURY, CT — Glastonbury police intercepted a wrong-way driver during the early morning hours, just after Memorial Day.
According to an arrest report, at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday, Glastonbury Police Department received an alert about a vehicle operating on the wrong side of the road on Glastonbury Boulevard.
Officers located the vehicle and determined that the operator, a 50-year-old man from Glastonbury, was intoxicated, according to an arrest report.
The driver was charged with DUI and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on June 16, records show.
