GLASTONBURY, CT — Residents planning a trip to the Glastonbury Transfer Station over the Independence Day weekend will need to adjust their schedules.

According to a notice posted June 3, the facility will be open Friday, July 3, 2026, and closed Saturday, July 4, 2026, in observance of Independence Day.

The posted holiday schedule states the Transfer Station will be open July 3 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The facility will then be closed the following day, July 4.
