GLASTONBURY, CT — Customers "walking" into a popular Glastonbury eatery next week will get a fresh new feeling underfoot.
That's because, while Ken's Corner has been closed for the staff's annual summer vacation, the flooring has been given a work-over.
Ken's Corner is located in the plaza at 30 Hebron Ave.
"New flooring ... looks awesome," said a social media post on Friday. "Thanks to Jeff and the team for doing this while we're closed."
Jeff, er, Jeffrey Taylor, said when doing the work, a new ProRez ProKrete RT Cementitious urethane kitchen floor was put down and a new quartz style dining area that was installed 9 years ago was "refreshed."
Ken's Corner closed for vacation on June 26 and plans to re-open on. July 15.
