GLASTONBURY, CT — A Hartford man was arrested after a police officer on patrol found a vehicle stopped in the middle of Hubbard Street with the driver asleep behind the wheel, according to police.
The incident occurred on Sept. 12. An officer discovered the vehicle obstructing the roadway.
It was 4:23 a.m.
The operator, 47, was found asleep behind the wheel, police said. Officers determined he was under the influence and took him into custody.
He was charged with driving under the influence, the improper use of a plate and driving without a license.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 13.
