GLASTONBURY, CT — A 47-year-old East Hartford man has been charged with fourth-degree sexual assault following an incident at a salon in Glastonbury, arrest records show.
On Sept, 18, Jeremiah Merrick surrendered to authorities on an active warrant.
The warrant was issued after the GPD investigated allegations that he inappropriately touched a female stylist, including touching her buttocks, during a haircut appointment at a salon in Glastonbury in July, police said, citing the warrant.
Merrick is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16 after posting a $10,000 bond.
